Toxic Spills Glow Coasters $11.99 Do you have one of those friends that will pick your beer up off the table and scoot a piece of pressed cardboard underneath it, and then glare? Sure, we all do! We call those people jerks, but not to their stupid wood-finish loving jerky faces. We call them jerks back at the lab, where we're busily concocting some new radioactive substance to pour all over your precious antique coffee table. Fortunately for them, the simians in our scientific cadre of inventors didn't do so well in nuclear chemistry and what they thought was a radioactive suspension of radium and a phosphor in a liquid medium turned out to be zinc sulfide in a polymer matrix - a.k.a. glow-in-the-dark plastic. What we had intended to be a glowing wood-stain ruining an otherwise unmarred wooden surface ended up being yet another method by which said jerk could protect it. Thus was born Toxic Spills Glow Coasters! Large "splatty" discs of plastic designed to look like somebody squashed a giant firefly on your table with a beer bottle, or perhaps a dollop of radioactive slime, these coasters will protect your pretty precious wooden tabletops from the horrors of condensation!
