Crystal Wine
Can anyone tell me how to get really tough, set in stains out of crystal wine glasses??
These are old glasses, & stains are very set in:; I have tried several things, to no avail; please help!! They are a family heirloom!! They have been washed in the dishwasher & have that dishwasher , dull look on them!!
Sounds like the glasses have dulled and received some damage over the years. If you can find a reliable antique dealer or auctioneer they might be able to point you in the direction of someone who can professionally polish your glasses. This won't completely undo prior damage, but can bring back much of the original sparkle.
