Crystal Decanter and glasses?

I have a cyrstal decanter and set of glasses and i want to know who made them but tere is no seal on the glasses or decanter at all. i know that they are very old becuase they were my great-grandmothers but that's it. help

Take a sample to an Antique Dealer who maybe able to help or go to a library and look up in some Antique Glass books.
